It’s only a block from the beach, which was a plus, but the room we got felt more like a barbecue area. The sleeping room was small, though it did have air conditioning. The bathroom and the space meant to be the kitchen and living room were unbearably hot. With more than two people, I don’t think anyone could have slept in the living area. You really need a car here: there aren’t any supermarkets nearby, just a small shop with a limited selection.

The flats had everything needed for a comfortable beach stay: TV, air conditioning, stove, fridge, beds, and bed and bath linens. It’s less than 5 minutes from the beach and close to barraca do Loro, with a little shop nearby for basics. Excellent value for money, and a great place to stay at Praia do Flamengo.
