Hotel Pousada Imperial

It was a short stay, but I liked it a lot. The place felt cozy, everything was clean and smelled nice, and I got a good rest.

The location was good, but breakfast was scarce. When I went down at 7:40 in the morning, there was simply nothing left.

The front desk clerk treated us well, but the inn itself was in very poor condition and needs a lot of work. In the first room, the shower cover was missing and the heating element was exposed, which seemed dangerous because of the risk of electric shock. The air conditioning in the second room wouldn’t cool, and its filter was sitting on the table. We were a couple and only had one face towel, with no blankets to cover ourselves. The other room used by the family traveling with us was in poor shape too. The price was extremely high for what was offered. We’d spent the day driving and were already exhausted, so I couldn’t manage to look for somewhere else.

The location was very central, and the price was about what most inns charge. I stayed just one night. The room was spacious and good, with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was roomy too, but there was no soap. There was only one towel, which I didn’t like since I was with my companion. Breakfast was good, though there weren’t many choices.
