We were staying at another hotel, but crossed the river to try the restaurant and river bar. The bar served the best margarita we’ve had in Brazil, and the caipirinhas were excellent. We ended up adding a night at the hotel so we could keep enjoying the homemade pasta. Breakfast was excellent, and everything is tastefully decorated. The gardens alone are reason enough to visit.

The service was 10/10, and the cabins and surrounding nature are beautiful. There are lots of animals around and a very welcoming dog named Emma. Getting there by car can be tricky, with sandy roads where it’s easy to get stuck, so watch for the right turns.

The garden is wonderful, with animals, and the pousada sits right by the river in the middle of nature. It’s a lovely family story, run by a mother and son, and he speaks French and Italian. The clean bungalows have air conditioning, breakfast is really good, and the staff are very polite. The restaurant serves good Brazilian and Italian food, and they adjusted everything for our gluten and lactose allergies. We had a wonderful stay!

We had a relaxed stay at Ciamat Camp, and I’d definitely recommend booking trips to the larancoes with the owners. They have special outings beyond the tourist ones, which show more of how local people live. There’s also a nice bar for a Caipirinha. Everything is beautifully decorated, clean, and lovely. The owners and brothers Mattheo and Tiago were really nice and gave us great tips, helping us with everything.

A really cute place with helpful owners. It’s close to the national Park, and they can help arrange excursions. The food takes a while, and you might spot a bug now and then, but that’s to be expected somewhere so remote.
