For R$450 a day, we expected a magnificent five-star hotel, especially in a small town. That wasn't the reality. The rooms are spacious, the outdoor area is beautiful for a place on a golf course, and the staff are very friendly. That's about all the good I can say. Everything else feels old, run down, and dark, and the gym is awful, with just four pieces of poor equipment. It seems they don't care and just want your money, especially since cancelling early means you get nothing back. They charge five-star prices for three-star accommodation. I wouldn't return or recommend it to friends. We were led to believe golf was free, but you have to pay to rent the equipment, balls, and a cart. They even charge 50 cents for tees. Once here, we were told it would be free if we brought our own gear. Who brings golf clubs through an airport on a 13-hour flight for a vacation? Breakfast is only served from 8-10. The fruit selection is decent, but there's little else for a healthy vegan couple, and the quality doesn't justify the price.

The breakfast was really good, though the service wasn't to my taste. There's a warm pool in the shared area, and some rooms have a hot tub. From the entrance you can see the green golf field, where you can play or take a walk. It's close to a supermarket and about 20 minutes from both Tiradentes and downtown São João Del-Rei. This place is something else!

A good deal for a nice hotel, with big rooms and jacuzzis that make it a relaxing place. The gym could use newer, more modern equipment. Get up very early if you want to meet the monkeys on the way to the lobby.

A peaceful place surrounded by nature, with a decent golf course. The rooms are good, and there are golf and tennis courts. A great place to stay.
