The staff were genuinely nice and polite, and breakfast was fair. But the granite floors in the bedrooms weren’t great in a place that can get quite cold. It was 10 degrees Celsius while we were there. The doors were the worst part, they made so much noise that a good night’s sleep was impossible with all the slamming.

You can hear everyone and everything here. It basically feels like a motel in vila Mariana, and it was a horrible place to stay. Someone recommended it to me, and I didn’t research it much, so that part was totally my fault. What a sad place. Please look for somewhere better.

There’s a very small TV with no cable, and the refrigerator was unplugged. It’s a very basic place, really just somewhere to sleep and shower.
