The room was clean, the linens were changed on time, and I loved the view from my balcony. Most of all, I’m grateful for the help I received from the host, especially "the Mother," when I was dealing with a personal situation. She gave me support and guidance that helped me sort it out. Thank you.

The inn is close to the entrance to Juquehy and Monjolo Shopping, and everything was very tidy. The rooms have air conditioning. Breakfast is served at 8:00, though it was a little late. There’s no kitchen or water filter for guests. The small pool is in the backyard, and there are two friendly little cats.

I came looking for somewhere to rest, and that’s what I found. I was welcomed well from the start. The entrance gate stays shut and uses a code. The pool was clean, though I chose the beach and didn’t use it. My room was clean, with fresh bedding and towels. There was no toilet paper, but when I asked, the woman brought some right away. Breakfast was great and had that home-cooked feel. The hosts were extremely polite and seemed helpful. They met my expectations for a restful stay, and I’d stay here again for sure. I usually don’t like animals indoors, but the dog and two cats didn’t bother me at all. At no point did they seem dirty. They mostly stayed calmly around the pool, and the dog seemed so calm it might be trained. The location is great, close to the center, beach, and market. The street is really, really quiet, and I had no issue with the parking situation. There’s no parking lot, so the car stays on the sidewalk. That’s stated in the app, so just pay attention to the listing.

I don’t recommend this place. The stay didn’t match the listing. We arrived well after the stated check-in time and were told there was no water in the taps or showers. The host suggested using a shared bathroom, the only place with water at the time, or taking a pool shower until service returned to the rooms. I was pregnant and had just come back from the beach, so we used the shared bathroom. There was barely any water, and it ran out halfway through my shower. There was no soap or shampoo either. Then I was interrupted and told to hurry because other guests were waiting. We were without water until 5 a.m. The pool was extremely dirty, with several broken spots that hadn’t been repaired, and a very strong chlorine smell. It was clearly not fit to use. The stairs to the rooms felt completely dangerous. The room door was very hard to close, and the bathroom door looked like termites had eaten it. There’s no parking, and the rooms don’t have minibars. What upset me most was the host’s response. Even though the service clearly wasn’t delivered as booked, she said she wouldn’t lower the price because the other guests hadn’t had a problem and only we had complained. For the lack of water, she offered a reduction of R$ 10,00. We won’t return or recommend the place because of how dismissively we were treated.
