Cysne Hotel Sobral

I wouldn’t recommend it. The pictures on the website don’t match what it’s actually like, and cleanliness was lacking throughout.

This was an awful stay, from the poor service and facilities to the complete lack of respect for customers. A travel agency booked one night for me but mistakenly passed along a reservation for four nights. The owner demanded payment for all four even though I was staying only one night, and wouldn’t let me leave. During the dispute, the owner shoved and insulted me. I was blamed for what happened, though the mistake was clearly between the owner and the agency. The owner seemed completely out of control and unfit to run a business. I’ll never stay here again and can’t recommend it. Based on other accounts I’ve read here, avoid the place and be careful.

We paid R$180 for a room for three for one night while in town for the TBT do Safadao show. I was surprised by the hotel. Room 201 was simple but met our needs, and it was clean, including the sheets. The air conditioning worked, though the shower water was cold. Breakfast was very good.

The room needs some repairs: the faucet was broken, the water ran out in the middle of the night, and the air conditioning took a long time to cool things down. There were also mosquitoes, including biting ones. The service was very good, and breakfast was good too.
