Pousada Don Quixote

Awesome place, really clean, and the service was great.

The staff welcomed us with open arms. They were helpful, polite, and always ready to lend a hand. My cousins, other family members, and I had a really good weekend in Tiradentes, and Pousada Dom Quixote was a perfect place to stay. I’d stayed here before, and it’s still great. When I come back to Tiradentes, I already know where I’ll stay.

The pousada is peaceful, well located, and very well cared for. The shower was great, the parking was excellent, and the bedding and towels were spotless. Breakfast was very good too. Rest and peace are guaranteed! Thanks to Sr. João Carlos, both Guilhermes, and the women in the kitchen. Everyone was attentive, polite, and ready to help or suggest places to go. I’ll definitely return when I get the chance. Many thanks to all of you.

The pool was a lovely place to unwind after a day out, and breakfast had plenty of high quality choices. We stayed at Dom Quixote for New Year's Eve and had a perfect visit. Guilherme was attentive from the booking onward, and checkout was quick. The inn is 25 years old but beautifully kept. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable, though the bathroom could use updating. The linens and towels were good quality and smelled fresh, and the staff were polite and helpful. On the 30th, they surprised us with a delicious happy hour featuring pernil, pão de queijo, snacks, and sparkling wine without limit. It's a great value, quiet despite being only a few blocks from largo das Forras. If we return to Tiradentes, we'd choose Dom Quixote again.
