Pousada Em Cantos de Minas

We parked the car and didn't need it again. The street is flat and close to everything, so we walked to the station and churches. It's a simple but functional place, and who stays in the room all day in Tiradentes anyway? Breakfast was delicious. Paula and Darlen made us feel at home. The bed was comfortable, the room clean and seemingly recently renovated, and the white towels were well cared for. The sheets were clean, though they should be replaced. The outside of the inn could use renovation, but that wouldn't stop me from returning. From what I understood, Tiradentes has trouble finding people for this kind of work, which I completely understand since my city has the same issue.

This inn is so inconsiderate. The employees clean while playing loud music from their phones, and today at 8:30 in the morning a guy was using a machine that sounded like a chainsaw to clear leaves off the ground. Completely disrespectful.

It was a really frustrating stay. The room was dirty, the sheets were dingy and moldy, the towels were old, and there was no TV. There were moths on the wall and the door was warped. One night the parking gate was left open because they had lost the remote. Breakfast was limited one day and served very late the next. When we ate there, staff left the food uncovered while they went off to do other things. The whole inn felt abandoned. I don't recommend it.

The inn is close to the historic center, and we had a good stay. Breakfast was tasty, and the bathroom seemed to have been renovated recently. There was some mold on the wooden ceiling and high up on the walls, though, and it triggered our allergies.
