The owners, Aline and Guillerme, were the highlight. They were so friendly and helpful that they made us feel like family right away, and even put on a BBQ with some other guests on our last day. They also speak good English, which is useful for foreign visitors. There's a lovely calm, cozy feel around the place, with a small pool and games room. The pirate-themed decor is tasteful and gives the pousada a special touch. The view is stunning, with the beach and coastline visible even while you're lying in bed. Absolutely brilliant, and I can't recommend it enough.

Guilherme and Aline made us feel at home throughout our two weeks at “Mirante do Pirata.” They offered help when we arrived and checked in later to see if we needed anything. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The pousada sits in a great spot with a stunning view over the beach of the Costa Brava da Fortaleza. The road there is rough in places, but driving slowly does the trick. Once we arrived, we loved being able to walk around to the places we wanted to explore. We'd love to return.

The hosts were nice, and the rooms were okay, but nothing close to three-star quality. I thought the hotel was overpriced, especially since breakfast was the only meal served and was just okay. The nearby food options were horrible.
