Pousada Universitária

It’s convenient if you need to be near the UFU medical hospital, just a five-minute walk from the inn. The place is very simple, which isn’t a problem by itself. What bothered me was the cleanliness. The sheets and pillowcases smelled used, so I had to cover the pillow with one of my own clothes. The TV is small, also not a problem on its own, but there was a constant background buzz on every channel. I stayed just one night in an upstairs room with a private bathroom. The toilet seat seemed partly clogged. They don’t provide bath towels or toiletries, and I wish they’d mentioned that at check-in. There’s a fan in the room, but it was very noisy and rattled, so I left the glass door open instead of turning it on. There’s another, better inn next door.
