The peace and quiet there felt wonderful, and the neighborhood was great and safe, with beautiful beaches and everything nearby. I loved recanto da vovó and felt right at home. Marlene is an incredible, kind-hearted person. She surprised me with an unexpected breakfast made with love, care, and dedication. It's a marvelous place. Honestly, I didn't even want to leave. I'm just grateful, and I'd recommend it to everyone so they can have their own experience.

The good thing is the location, near Praia de Cambuí, with a bakery, pharmacy, markets, banks, and everything else close by. In reality, though, this place is more like a dormitory. The arrangements and payment details are handled only online. When we tried to visit, reception wouldn't help us; we only spoke with someone who seemed to be a housekeeper, and they said everything had to be done over the internet. The website has only a few photos that don't show much, and the place seemed somewhat neglected, unlike how it apparently used to be. We'll try to get in touch about staying there, then we can give the dormitory a better assessment.
