The taxi ride ended up costing me extra time and money. After the driver had already ended the trip and charged me, I had to order another taxi because a staff member ran up saying they couldn't find the restaurant payment and offered to charge me the difference. I'd already paid that bill, and they had told me I could leave. Even before that, they put me in a rather old room with windows facing another building's wall. Terrible service.

The location right in front of the beach is amazing. I spent an afternoon there because my friend was staying at the hotel and was really enjoying it. I tried a few drinks, nothing bad, they were okay. All in all, an awesome place.

A few steps from the beach, you can sit under the palm trees with a fresh, cold coconut drink or a Brahma or Antarctica beer and watch the boats out on the water. Great spot right by the beach.
