The beach is beautiful, and there’s a nice pool. These condos are individually owned, and most seem to have long-term renters who return every year. Renovations are underway, so expect noise this year. It’s a good choice if you like quiet and privacy.

We had beautiful weather for bonefishing on the flats, and Captain Phil kept putting us on fish all day. Peter was available and helpful with everything during our stay. Our first-floor, two-bedroom accommodations were generally pleasing, though the property could use some care. Tyne Beach Terrace sits in a private spot right on a gorgeous white-sand beach. The island is still recovering from hurricane Dorian, but thankfully the property was spared the worst of it. I’d definitely stay at Tyne Beach Terrace again.

The view is amazing, and the beach alone made the stay worthwhile. It’s a great location with a great beach, and I’d most definitely book here again. We traveled from Holland, and the beachfront property needs some repairs. For a good part of the first two days, the toilet was broken, which was especially unpleasant with two 16-year-olds along. I ended up doing some part-time plumbing. Peter was great and arranged for a plumber to fix it.

The place is fantastic, right by the beach, with an amazing balcony view, and the staff were friendly. But the apartment was neglected and needs a lot of repair. Switches were coming off the walls, the balcony chairs were rusty and unusable, and the window mosquito nets were torn. There was a holder for an umbrella in the balcony table, but no umbrella. The room table had a sticky substance on it that wouldn’t come off, the bed creaked, and there were stains on the ceiling. Tiny insects were all over the kitchen and seemed to react to any food left out. They were probably harmless to people. The worst issue was the AC. Its compressor was inside the apartment and made a horrible noise, so we couldn’t use the air conditioning at night.

This is our permanent home, so clearly we like it. The location is beautiful, with a pool and excellent beach access. Just keep in mind it’s a collection of condos, not a hotel, so there aren’t many hotel amenities. You’ll need a car or be willing to walk a reasonable distance for groceries and restaurants.
