The food was an amazing surprise. We nearly missed the all-day menu, and the pizza and burger were so much fun. Bhutanese dishes and the lovely dinner menu were great too, and every meal became a highlight. We thought we'd go hungry in the mountains, but instead had some of the best meals we've ever eaten. COMO was our honeymoon choice and surpassed all expectations. From the moment we landed, the team warmly greeted us and asked how we liked to be addressed. They remembered throughout our stay, knew our names, and quickly picked up our food preferences so every meal felt personal. Our driver Asha and guide Yoten were just as wonderful. They listened to what we enjoyed and added a few thoughtful stops that suited us perfectly. Their warmth, kindness, and flexibility made traveling with them feel like being with friends. Thanks, COMO, for a memory we'll cherish forever.

The room or villa was the best we've ever stayed in, and we loved every minute. The hospitality was wonderfully cosy, the food was lovely, and our butler was great. Archery was a lot of fun, and we'd say the massage and hot stone bath are essential.

What made our trip so special were our guide Tshering (O) and our driver Tshering. They were incredible and made our nine days in Bhutan absolutely perfect. We booked the Himalaya Immersion package for nine nights across Paro, Punakha, and Bundrak, and the stay at Como Uma Paro was unforgettable. The beautiful, peaceful property had spacious, comfortable rooms with lovely views, great food, a good gym, and a pool that was perfect after exploring. We were touched by how genuinely cared for we felt, and it was clear everyone gave their very best from the heart. I really hope to return one day and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bhutan.

Set on a pine-covered hillside, COMO Uma Paro looks out over forest, mountains, and the Paro Valley. Its design pairs traditional Bhutanese craftsmanship with clean contemporary lines for a refined but authentic feel. The COMO Shambhala spa, daily yoga, heated indoor pool, and private villas all add to the experience. Some villas have their own butler service, outdoor stone tubs, and firepits. The hotel seems to deliver on both the food and the calm, luxurious atmosphere.

We stopped here for our last meal in Paro, and it turned out to be our best meal in Bhutan. The burger and cheese platter were great, and the wine selection was decent and reasonably priced. It's also a perfect spot for sunset. Beautiful setting, excellent service, and very friendly, attentive staff, especially the F&B manager. Highly recommended.
