Kichu Resort has a beautiful spot by the river, and the chef serves delicious, well-prepared food. If you're going only for a meal, you may be happy. As a place to stay, though, it was a heartbreak. The resort has a great location in Paro, but poor service and neglected facilities made the experience a disappointment. The bathrooms are tiny and outdated. The geysers stopped working at random, and the water drained so slowly it was frustrating. The place needs a renovation to meet 2026 standards. It was freezing, but the front desk ignored our requests for heaters for our five rooms. We only got help after finding the manager's private number and calling him. Don't book for the amenities. The gym, sauna, and hot stone bath were filthy and neglected. They are severely understaffed: the person at the desk also handles room service, and the restaurant staff, unlike the chef, were rude and unprofessional. It's a shame. With a little renovation and a professional service team, this could be one of the best resorts in Paro. For now, enjoy the food if you must, but stay somewhere else.

I came from Kerala in south India with my parents, and we'll miss the team at Kichu resort. The beautiful mountain views made our tour even more special. The chef and team served delicious food at both dinner and breakfast. The daal, chole puri, and bitter gourd paneer korma were especially good and unique. Thank you, chef sir, for the food and for the best service.

We had some maintenance and housekeeping complaints about the resort, but the Indian food at Kichu Resort made up for a lot. We'd struggled to find good Indian food anywhere in Bhutan, at hotels, resorts, or restaurants. Then, coming from Punakha to Paro, we ate here and it was like magic. We'll remember that meal for a lifetime. Kudos to the Indian chef for not disappointing us. Thank you all, and see you again in 2027.

The food was excellent, and the care with which it was served really touched our hearts. The resort grounds are full of flowers, and the river flowing alongside adds to the natural beauty. The architecture is aesthetically designed, with excellent infrastructure and room layout.

We're Jain, and the Indian chef made praiseworthy food without onion or garlic. We've never had Jain food this good, even in Mumbai. Sonam at the front desk was very helpful, and Karma and another staff member whose name I've forgotten also looked after us well. Thanks to Kichu Resort for the great service. Hats off to the chef. We hope to return next year. Until then, stay happy, everyone, and God bless you all.
