Taktsang Village Resort

A beautiful place to visit, with tasty food and really good staff. We had a pleasant, memorable stay.

You can see Tiger Nest from this gorgeous place, and there’s room to walk around. The staff were awesome and the food was amazing. It’s outside Paro, which might be a concern if you’re used to being in the city 🤗🥂

The view of tiger nest from the resort is lovely. Everything else was 10/10 for us too, from the food and room to the surroundings. I loved staying here, and I’ll definitely choose it again next time. Thanks to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

The rooms and the property look beautiful, but that was the only good part of my two-night stay in March 2024. The service was terrible. Staff seemed lost, with no understanding of guests’ basic needs or how to run a hotel. In the evenings they leave, so you’re on your own. They couldn’t arrange a ride to the city center either. Breakfast was basically a plate of cornflakes. If you asked for water in your room, they made a point of telling you each small bottle cost extra. They also didn’t know how to use the bank terminal, so I had to handle it myself. Even after I showed them that the payment had been approved, they insisted it hadn’t gone through. I could list more problems, but the experience was very bad. I’d stay away unless they get new staff.
