Hotel Bhutan Home Thimphu

The location was just right, close to everything but quiet at night. Check-in was quick, and the thoughtful amenities made a difference. My room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were warm and helpful. I stayed recently and would absolutely come back.

We spent three days here with family, and it was a great experience. The hotel is budget-friendly, and our room was clean, tidy, safe, and in excellent condition. We asked for a room with a good view, and the staff arranged one. It looked out over the mountains and Thimphu city. The staff were polite and helpful. The food was decent, and when we asked for chapati and daal at the buffet, they arranged those as well. One of the best places to stay in thimphu.

We spent two nights at Hotel Bhutan Home in Phuentsholing with my family, once on our way into Bhutan and again on the last day of our return trip. The staff were especially polite and friendly, and the rooms were great. On our first night, the chef made an incredible dinner of Ema Datshi and other Indian vegetarian dishes. If you're pure vegetarians, let the staff know early so they can prepare what you need. They also ask when you'd like dinner or breakfast. The hotel is near the city center, which we walked around in the evening. There are lots of shops for shopping and a nearby park with a stupa. The pedestrian terminal is a 10-15 minute walk away.

The staff made us feel welcome, and the service was quick and efficient. Our rooms were spotless, and everything seemed well-managed. It was one of the best hotel stays I've had in Thimphu.
