Hotel 89

The service was disgusting, and our rooms had not even been cleaned when we were handed the keys. When we wanted to switch hotels, they would not give us a refund. It was utterly disappointing and pathetic. If negative ratings were possible, I would give one.

The food was good and the people were friendly, but my stay still wasn't very good. Service was okay, though not quite up to standard. We couldn't get warm water when we needed it, and some rooms lacked basic things like an intercom or water heater.

The one good thing is that the hotel is right in the city center. We were told we'd be staying in at least a 2-star hotel, but this one doesn't have a star rating. The Wi-Fi only worked for 3 to 4 hours. In the early morning, we had to wait for water to come through the bathroom taps while the overhead tanks were being filled. The bathrooms weren't very tidy, either. The room door also wouldn't latch automatically, so you had to lock it from inside.

The rooms were large, faced the street, and had plenty of storage space, along with a small dining table for two. There was a heater for the winter, too. The hotel is centrally located, opposite Meridian 5 star, and has its own bar and restaurant where the food was really delicious. It's an amazing place to stay.
