The location is the main drawback: it’s by the entrance to Thimphu, a few kilometres from the main street, so you’ll need a shared ride or car to get around. The room itself was clean, airy, and larger than at similar places, with a good view, nice water pressure, and a heater provided. The staff were friendly, and the food was good.

We found the staff humble and courteous, and the beer prices were reasonable. The rooms are very spacious and have good amenities. There’s plenty of good food, including a lot of Indian cuisine. One of the best places to stay in Thimphu, and suitable for all age groups. I’d recommend it.

I had a wonderful time at mantra home. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Pritika, Pratima & tulsi, and the rooms were clean. Since I was fasting for Navratri, they even tailored a special menu for me.
