Hotel New Singye

The rooms were okay, and the staff behaved well. We were given a discount and they honored our special requests, but the geezer wasn’t working in our room or even after we were moved to other rooms. That’s a must if you want a shower in Thimpu! The Wi-Fi also had some problems.

The location is good, but the hotel has no maintenance. I stayed one night last week and the geyser didn’t work. They made no effort to change my room. Don’t even consider eating at their overpriced restaurant: the food is low quality and costs far too much.

We came to Bhutan for the first time and stayed here for two nights. It’s a clean, quiet town, and there are many office buildings and embassies of important countries near the hotel.

The bathroom water gave us a lot of trouble at times, and we had real problems because of it. Any Indian would understand. For the facilities they provided, the place was far too expensive.
