Seven Suites thimphu

Our room was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the food suited our group of four perfectly. This was our first hotel in Bhutan, and the staff welcomed us with warm towels and ginger tea.

The rooms were huge, the view was great, and the service was good. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were delicious, though the selection was small compared with hotel buffets in Thailand or Singapore. The massage spa service was a hit with my friends. The hotel was only seven months old when I posted this, so everything felt new, clean, and pristine. It sits up in the hills, away from the denser center, and the setting was lovely and fresh. We had a tour guide and driver, so I can’t say how easy it is to get around or reach by public transport without a car. The internet was a bit weak, and it seemed limited to one device per person. I’m American and have at least three devices! Luckily, I had a tourist eSIM and managed with one for my iPad, which I needed for work during my two-day stay. Wonderful!

A great room in a nice looking, seemingly new hotel with good facilities. The food wasn’t great, so I wouldn’t eat here. Service was good, though sometimes awkward and inexperienced. I only had a couple of small complaints: the toilet took a long time to flush, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work.

Our guest gave us very good feedback about their stay in seven Suite, and we also heard good things about a recent lunch. The rooms are amazing, with a highway view. Staff are friendly and flexible, and the service is very prompt. Keep it up, team.
