The room could have been cleaner. I found some portion in the bed seat and weight cover, which isn’t what I’d expect from a hotel of this quality. On the other hand, the Indian-style buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent. The food was really tasty, and hygiene was well maintained.

We were disappointed by dinner at Hotel Silverpine in Thimphu. After a long day of travel, we expected a proper meal, but the kitchen had forgotten to make the vegetables. All we got was khichdi, kadhi, and roti. That kind of basic oversight and poor planning is unacceptable in a hotel. They need to improve how the kitchen is managed and make sure guests are served complete meals.

The room had a remarkable view, and the food was really tasty. Staff were polite and genuinely nice to deal with. The location is near the welcome gate, quite a way from the main town. The washroom taps weren’t maintained, the water pressure was very low, and the WC didn’t work properly. Otherwise, it was quite good, and you could visit.

We stayed for two nights, and the service was excellent. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and had good views. Breakfast and dinner came with our package, and the food was good. The hotel is just outside Thimphu town, before the entrance.
