The Gochukha Hotel

The food was excellent, and the rooms felt luxurious. We had a pleasant two-day stay, with staff who were clearly dedicated to looking after guests. It was a memorable visit.

Gochukha hotel gave us a memorable stay. We were warmly greeted on arrival, and the staff were attentive throughout, courteous and genuinely concerned about our comfort. Our room was clean, spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with modern amenities, a comfortable bed and a lovely view that made for a peaceful getaway. We also enjoyed the restaurant, where the dishes were freshly prepared and full of flavor. The location made it easy to get to nearby attractions, though I don’t have a particular landmark to mention. Thank you to everyone for a stay we really appreciated. 😊

The Indian food was amazing, and the hotel staff were very kind and humble.

The location was convenient, with shops, a pharmacy and places to walk nearby, and the hotel felt peaceful and safe. The staff were especially caring and helpful. One of them even helped me get my clothes dry, which I really appreciated. Our room had enough space for three, with a big bed, two sofas, a small table and a dressing area. The bathroom was clean and worked well. We were welcomed with traditional tea, which felt warm and friendly. Dinner on the first night was served at our table and suited our taste; the following day, both breakfast and dinner were buffets with plenty of choice. We had a very good stay at The Gochukha Hotel in Thimphu and would recommend it to anyone visiting.
