Ms Chimme, the hotel manager, was very attentive and took care of our vegetarian needs. We tried the Bhutanese vegetarian cusine at the hotel, and it was excellent. The setting is beautiful, with mountain views, and very peaceful. Staff are polite and ready to help. Keep this hotel in mind if you travel to Bhutan (Thimpu).

The food was delicious, always served so kindly, and the quiet, peaceful atmosphere made it easy to pause and take in the stunning Bhutanese surroundings. My room was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome, almost like part of a family. It's rare for hospitality to feel this natural and heartfelt. My stay made my Bhutan journey memorable, and I'd gladly return. Highly recommended!

My room was huge, with radiant heated floors, a dining table, kitchen, fridge, and a king-sized bed. I think some rooms also have balconies. The proprietor, Chimme, was a gracious, warm host, and breakfast was excellent: made-to-order omelets, whole grain breads, tea, coffee, yogurt, cereal, and assorted fruit. The room was very clean and had every amenity I needed. The hotel isn't downtown, but a taxi to the heart of town is only about a $2 cab ride.

It's a little off the main street, which makes it quiet, and you can walk to cafés and generally kick back. The staff at Khang Residency were very hospitable. I hope to visit again!

The area is quiet and peaceful, even though Thimphu city center is within walking distance. The location made it easy to reach shops, restaurants, and key attractions. My room was spacious, very clean, and well maintained, a comfortable place to come back to after exploring. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I'd definitely recommend Khang Residency to anyone visiting Thimphu.
