Thimphu Tower

Being right in the city center meant plenty of great stores and bars were close by, and the football stadium is beautiful. The food was great, and Tshering was a lovely host and a wonderful person to meet. Everyone on staff was very nice, and I had a great time at Thimpu Tower. The beds even have mattress warmers.

You can walk to plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, a great handicraft market, the Royal Textile Museum & Academy, and more. There’s also a lovely distant view of the Buddha Dordenma. Hospitality is top notch, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel focuses on sustainability and women’s empowerment. It’s right in central Thimphu, next to the clock tower. A wonderful place to stay, and I’d happily come back.

The rooms are spacious and the location in Thimphu is hard to beat. The staff were thoughtful and caring, with prompt laundry and room service. My host, Tshering, was incredibly kind. When I wasn’t feeling well, she went out of her way to look after me. I couldn’t recommend the hospitality here more.

The fourth-floor WiFi wasn’t great inside my room, but it was a minor issue. My room was very spacious and got lovely sunshine during the day. The real highlight was Tshering and her staff. Tshering’s help made everything go smoothly, and she was always ready to assist. I’m very grateful for her support.
