Odiyana Hotel

A good spot to relax with family or friends. It's away from the city, and the place felt safe. The rooms were cozy, and service and amenities were good. Food was okay, neither especially good nor bad.

The staff were courteous, attentive, and ready to help, and the food had lots of delicious choices. I found the location convenient and well connected. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained at Odiyana Hotel. I had a great stay and would gladly recommend it.

The all-girls staff were courteous and always smiling. They carried heavy bags to our first-floor rooms and served us at meals, which I really appreciated. The hotel has a lovely view from its long balcony and courtyard, but there aren't any sit-out areas to spend time in. Our room was very basic, and we had to use the plug beside the bed for the kettle. Water leaked around the commode. The buffet's Indian food was disappointing: tough, chewy chicken in the curry, tasteless dal, and papad-like rotis. The aloo sabji saved the meal.

The valley view from our room was good, and the staff were welcoming and courteous. The food was delicious and served hot. Still, this was more of a decent value-for-money room than what I'd expect from a supposed 3 star property. We'd booked breakfast in advance, but some of it was already gone. They said other guests had eaten a lot, so they couldn't serve us parathas. They did try to make up for it with a couple of extra rotis. The stay was decent apart from that breakfast fiasco.
