The campsite itself was clean and well cared for, and the viewing deck was great. But there was nothing to make the cost feel worthwhile. We paid 50 USD just to pitch our tent for one night, and were told that was the going rate. We’ve camped around Botswana for 80 Pula per person, even in Maun. At that price, you’d expect Wi-Fi, but there wasn’t any. We also wanted dinner at the restaurant and only then found out we had to book ahead. Nobody mentioned that when we arrived at noon. Checking out was frustrating too: we had to find someone to open the gate while they could see we were trying to leave. For what they charge, the service should be more attentive, with Wi-Fi and a decent restaurant. Very disappointing.
