The staff were lovely, which was the one real positive. The location is decent, but there’s a very loud karaoke place right next door. The booking photos are misleading. Our room was small and claustrophobic, with just one small window. Calling the view a ‘sea view’ is a stretch: the sea is across the road, but you can barely see it. There’s a small porch at the front, though everyone walks past, so there isn’t much privacy. They say there’s a pool, but there isn’t one at this property. They’ve bought another place on the north side of the island, a five-minute ferry ride away, with a lot of potential and a pool planned. It will be months before guests can use it.

We’ve been here for a few nights now, and it’s been wonderful. The owners are friendly and super helpful, and you can rent bikes. The rooms are beautiful and very clean, with good hot showers, and there’s unlimited cold drinking water. We can’t relate to the negative Google reviews. We don’t hear the karaoke bar from our room, and the location feels very central, with everything within walking distance. Definitely recommend!

We booked two nights through Booking.com, expecting a large room with a sea view and a good location. Instead, it was small, full of mosquitoes, and looked out at reception. There was no sea view whatsoever. The karaoke next door was deafening. I couldn’t sleep and spent the night swatting mosquitoes. The listing also showed a beautiful pool, but it’s on a different property and getting there was quite an adventure.

The location was perfect, among several restaurants, and the room was clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The amenities listed, though, belonged to their newer facility.
