We had the place to ourselves for our 4-night/3-day stay and stayed in a comfortable, simple cabin. The island was wonderfully quiet and secluded. Our dives on the reef, which is in excellent condition, were a highlight, with a cheerful, helpful team: Mora, Mike, and Fernando. Eddie was genuine, friendly, and accommodating. The food was delicious too, thanks to Luis and Nancy, and Jill served it with a smile and efficiency.

My only regret is how short my little vacation was. We had the whole island to ourselves, and the staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. Every meal was fresh, made with natural ingredients, and really good. Isla Marisol is a special gem, and the whole trip went beyond what I expected.
The trip out was a bit rough, with flight delays and trouble with Isla's main transport boat, but I’d do it again a thousand times for the experience. I arrived in the dark and woke up to paradise. Each morning I stepped out of my lovely cabin, wandered the beach, explored, and watched pelicans and egrets. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the sunrises and sunsets took my breath away. Our dives got better after some adjustments. The group I dive with is extremely experienced, and the team worked with us to improve each one. Mora is a treasure of a man, and Maya, a loyal chow mix, greeted us whenever we came back. The staff were friendly and gave outstanding service, and George was a fantastic bartender who helped me practice Spanish. Isla Marisol has a special, almost sacred place in my heart. The only crime to watch for on the way home is a hermit crab mugging you. I’ll never forget it.
My husband planned everything, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The boat trip to the island was lovely, with dolphins and other islands to see along the way. When we arrived, some of the staff greeted us, and I immediately noticed the beach and the kayaks and paddle boards. My family went fishing and snorkeling, and we made wonderful memories. The meals provided three times a day were delicious, and my husband made plenty of use of the fully stocked bar. We’ll definitely be back!
We pulled up in our private boat and got such a warm welcome. The staff and management were attentive and accommodating. We arrived between lunch and dinner, but they still arranged a snack from the kitchen, which we enjoyed with cocktails and ice cold beer at the beautiful over-water bar. George was the best bartender on the atoll! The island is lovely and well kept, and they even let us bring our dog. It’s pet friendly, and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. We’re yachties and will tell the yacht community how well they welcomed us and met our needs. They made us feel like family. This little slice of paradise comes highly recommended.
