The staff will do just about anything to help you have a good trip. They can pick you up at the bus stops or take you to boat tours with a complimentary shuttle. The rooms are spacious and have good AC. Breakfast was nice and suited the price.

Eduany was very helpful while we were booking and answered all our questions on WhatsApp. They also booked us a great tour of Lamania and gave us a free ride to the bus station when we left. The room itself, number 209, was called a 'delux', but it was very dark, had little natural light, and was so cramped that one side of the bed was pushed right against the wall. It was really only a place to sleep, and even that went badly because the mattress rolled you into the middle. The photos of thatch cabanas and the pool on Google are for Maracas, their 'sister' resort, not this hotel. Maracas has decent food in the evening, and Tony was helpful and friendly when he drove us over. The first night, reception said we had to take a cab, though, so ask for Tony directly. Also, the food photos aren’t of the free breakfast. The free breakfast has an $8 limit on one page of the menu; I presume the photos are of dishes people paid extra for on other pages.

It’s a nice hotel. Gran Resort, their sister hotel, is nicer, has more amenities, and does a better job with breakfast.
