San Ignacio Resort Hotel

Santos was a knowledgeable and fun guide for our Jaguar Paw cave tubing tour. He knew a lot about wildlife and was eager to share what he knew, and we loved every minute of the trip. Booking was easy, and we’d happily do it again. We stayed at a different hotel this time, but next time we’ll stay at this resort. Thanks so much for a great tour!

The restaurant served us the best meal of our trip, and the hotel’s location made it easy to walk into town. The concierge was very helpful with choosing activities and booking excursions, and cave tubing through the hotel was a highlight. We spent three nights at San Ignacio Resort Hotel and were sad to leave. From our airport pickup onward, everyone was so nice and helpful. The room and grounds were beautiful, and we can’t wait to return.

The Royal Suite was spacious and comfortable, just right for unwinding after a full day out. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of downtown and the market. We had one small dinner mistake, but management took responsibility right away, apologized, and went out of their way to fix it. The property is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. The staff were warm, attentive, and helpful at every turn, without being pushy. Whenever we had a question or needed something, they handled it quickly and made us feel cared for. Check-in, the grounds, and the service were all top-notch. This was one of our best stays, five-plus stars.

Before we arrived, the team communicated very well and helped arrange everything from tours to Tikal to transfers within Belize. At the hotel, we enjoyed the pool and restaurant, and our room was just right, with a balcony and hammock. The staff were attentive and engaging, and clearly cared about our experience. They were also exceptionally organized and well staffed, with everyone taking their responsibilities seriously. It’s impressive and hard to find elsewhere. We had an excellent stay earlier this month and would happily return.
