Park Place Belize

The service was fantastic, and the location was great. When I landed, someone drove me to the water taxi. Once I got to the island, the hotel checked whether I needed anything, day or night, whether a taxi, food run, or whatever else. The people here are so generous, they’d literally give you the shirt off their back. Belize will stay one of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

The desk staff were great and helped us with everything. The hotel has been recently renovated, and our room was nice for the price. It’s an easy walk to everything, and there’s a restaurant behind the hotel with good-quality food if you feel like taking a lazy day.

We visited in the slow season, and our room had no curtain and a bathroom door that wouldn’t close. Housekeeping hadn’t done a great job either, there was still hair and sand everywhere. I hate complaining, so I kept quiet until checkout, but really, how hard is it to make sure a bathroom door closes and the window has a curtain?

We’ve stayed in San Pedro several times and usually try a different place, but somehow we still spend most of our time back at Park Place. The rooms are clean and comfortable, everyone is friendly, and the staff are very accommodating. Highly recommend it.
