Los Porticos Villas

We stayed February 12-21/2026 in Villa 1C, an oceanfront place with a lovely view and access to the infinity pool below the balcony. It was spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities, though it is self-catering. The eight buildings each have four privately owned units, as we were told, and some owners rent theirs out. Namir at Flowers management group was wonderful from our first inquiry and helped us choose the right villa for two couples. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the on-site Italian restaurant is fantastic. This is a quiet place for relaxing, not partying. At night you can hear the ocean breeze, and the comfortable surroundings make it easy to unwind. Since the property is on the edge of Placencia village, a golf cart would be useful if you plan to go into town often. The one snag involved the pool. There are only four loungers shared by building 1 and all the owners in the complex, so the four of us used all of them. One owner strongly objected and told other people about her displeasure. We later learned the listing for 1C had misrepresented pool access, and it has since been reworded. The property manager, Jack, handled it perfectly after we brought it to him, and it was resolved right away. Most of the other owners we met were friendly, and we had great chats about the property and Belize, along with restaurant tips. Despite that issue, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend Los Porticos Villas.

The pool area was lovely, and we had a fantastic time snorkeling right off the beach, where there was plenty of sea life to see. We also went on a snorkeling trip with a local and used the stand up paddle boards. Our 2D condo was clean, roomy, and comfortable, just steps from the ocean, with a huge balcony and gorgeous views. The grounds are beautiful and town is close. We biked in several times and found lots of delicious food and variety.

That wrap-around deck at 2D was a favorite, with views over the grounds and ocean and loads of room for coffee and breakfast or a glass of wine later on. The condo itself was spacious and well appointed, with two large bedrooms, each with a luxurious bathroom, plus a third powder room. Los Porticos is right by the ocean and has a nice beach. The landscaping and pool are well kept, with chairs by the pool and nearer the beach. There's a great Italian restaurant on site, and the pizza was delicious whether eaten there or taken away. Management was very helpful with arranging excursions. Highly recommend 2D at Los Porticos!

Back for a second year in Villa 5a, and it's always great to return. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa is clean, and the location is beautiful, with a pool and gorgeous beach. Staff and maintenance are fantastic and always ready to help. La Dolce Vita, the Italian restaurant right on the property, is amazing! Laura & Clayton from Canada 🇨🇦
