The place was clean, though the old beds creaked whenever we moved and the pillows were lumpy. The host wasn’t very responsive, and there was no shampoo or conditioner.

The stars and wilderness scenery at night were amazing, and we had plenty of privacy. My little one loved the two apple trees out front and the herb and vegetable garden behind the guest houses. We rented two rooms for three nights, one for my wife, our two-year-old and me, with my in-laws next door. The dwellings were clean and well maintained, and the stay was very enjoyable for a good price. One bathroom sink was clogged, and there were no alarm clocks to check the time or wake us up. For a quiet, rustic family getaway at a reasonable price, I’d recommend this place.

Pet friendly, too. At Woodside Inn on Mount Woodside, each private suite has its own entrance and parking, plus a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and ensuite bathroom with a full tub and shower. There’s free WiFi and satellite TV. It’s one of the best affordable motels in Harrison Mills.

The owner was attentive, and the cabin’s WiFi and Cablevision were free. It was clean and comfortable, with a nice bed and gorgeous vintage furniture. The kitchenette was well put together, too.

The room was cozy and very nice, and the manager was incredibly friendly. Service was great and the location convenient. My only complaint was all the spiders.
