We had such a good time here. There’s plenty of space, and the cabins were spotless and clearly cared for. The host was really kind, too. Lots to do inside and out, so it works well for families. We went kayaking as well. It’s quite affordable, and I’d happily recommend it.

We only stopped by for a barbecue after my friend booked a cabin by the lake, but autumn made the visit unforgettable. The drive was lined with bright red maple leaves, and the lake itself was surrounded by crimson trees with still water. It all looked like a scene from a movie. Next time I want to stay for a few days and take in the quiet and beautiful setting. 💜💜💜

On our last day, there was music out on the water and boats lit up. We were on the swing when they called out for us to come along, and we got to see what their community does. It was such an amazing opportunity, and everyone made us feel included. The whole stay felt like being part of the family. Thanks, Mel & Craig. We’ll see you next year, hopefully with the fam jam!

This was our second visit, and we’ll be back again. Craige and Melody are wonderful hosts. They make you feel comfortable and are ready to help whenever you need them.

We had a lovely family getaway at Little Hawk, even though it rained during our stay. The view of the lake from our two-bedroom cottage made sitting down with hot drinks and food feel special. There are trails right from the resort, and nature lovers will find the setting magnificent. Guests can also use the kayaks, enjoy the outdoor hot tub, relax in the many seating areas, or make a fire at one of the pits. There’s a play area and good parking, too. We booked two cottages, one with two bedrooms and one with three. Both looked rustic outside but were beautifully arranged inside. The decor was lovely, and the kitchen was well supplied and functional, with a microwave. Bedrooms had cozy beds, linen, pillows, fans, and bedside lamps. There was comfortable seating, a TV, DVD player, books and games, plus a dining area and nice washrooms. The deck had a BBQ and seating. We really enjoyed the resort, though I did find it a bit pricey. Still, we felt lucky to get those two cottages.
