Bluewater Motel

This place charges extra for toilet paper and other basic room necessities. It's an overpriced, dirty, run-down dump of a motel. Minus 10 out of 10. I'd suggest getting tested for diseases after staying here.

Don't stay here. The room I had smelled like cat pee, like it hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest, and there were cockroaches in almost every room. The maintenance man is rude and abusive to the people staying here and seems eager to get the next person kicked out. The owners know and do nothing about it.

My friend stayed here and had to use a space heater because there was no direct heat, which she felt was dangerous. She had to unplug things from the power bar to use the microwave and kettle. The windows had no screens, there were no hangers in the closet, and there wasn't a chair for the table. Worst of all, there was no smoke or carbon dioxide detector in the room!

The first room we were shown had an unflushed toilet and a dirty tub and shower. In the next room, which had two beds for our friend as well, the cups had cigarette holes in them. We also found a small baggie by the bed, probably a crack baggie. Gross. I ended up cleaning the tub myself because it was so disgusting. We left early, but they wouldn't refund us because the cleaner was gone, even though she lives there. The place is run down, doesn't clean well, and isn't sanitary. I could've done a better job than the cleaner. The pool wasn't there, and what there was was so small and gross they should just get rid of it. Worst motel in Sarnia. The price is ridiculous for how dirty it is, overcharged at more than $80 a night or $450 for a week. No deal at all unless you like living in filth. I gave it one star, and would give none if I could. Yuck.
