Alex went above and beyond to help me, and I can’t thank him enough. I was hiking from Georgia to Cap Gaspé, Quebec, and they let me have mail sent here and pick it up. Everyone was so accommodating. I’d gladly stay again if I get the chance to hike through QC.

A handy place to stop on the way to eastern Quebec, right on Hwy 132 with its lovely scenery. We enjoyed our stay at Auberge L’Ambassadeur, and check-in and check-out were easy. The restaurant is on site, but breakfast needs to be booked ahead. There’s a McDonald’s nearby for a quick alternative. Our standard room had the toilet and shower behind a door, while the sink was out in the main room. That can be useful if someone needs the sink while another person is in the bathroom, though it could wake someone who’s still sleeping. We didn’t get to try the other amenities, but the stay was comfortable and convenient.

The rooms are roomy, nicely furnished, and very clean. Staff were great, and the location worked well for us. The hotel’s attached restaurant had tasty food at a good price. I’d stay here again.

Alex at reception was especially helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were bilingual and focused on customers. It’s central, clean, and fairly priced. Highly recommend.
