Hotel La Caravelle

The room itself was nice, but the walls were thin and I wished the bathroom were a little larger. There was a smell from the products the cleaners use. The place feels a bit vintage, and the exterior could use an update. The shower water kept swinging from freezing cold to hot enough to burn. It made me wonder what would happen if a child were showering.

The staff were welcoming and spoke multiple languages, and the rooms were clean. The price was good, too. The hotel seems to sit high in the city, and the view of the stars from there was unimaginable.

I like the older feel of this hotel. Jeremie at the desk gave great service.

We booked two rooms, but the hotel had only reserved one. Since they were fully booked, we were lucky another client canceled; otherwise, not all of us would have had somewhere to sleep. That's an unacceptable mistake, and the service felt very bad. The rooms weren't very clean or attractive. The bathroom had rust, and the walls were peeling. The food wasn't good either: my eggs were burnt and the potatoes were dry. To me, this feels more like a motel than a hotel.
