Auberge Saint-Pierre

The common areas made the stay feel special, with a charming arts-and-crafts style, stained glass lighting, wood details, and classic comfy chairs. Breakfast was an upscale continental buffet, tasty and varied, with croissants, meats, fruit, and more. We also enjoyed a glass of wine from the lobby dispenser before a delicious pasta dinner at adjoining Matto restaurant. The Saint Pierre was a wonderful experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our English was no problem. It's in lower Old Quebec, near the Funiculaire and right among the old town shops and sights. There isn't on-site parking, understandably in the city, but covered public parking is a three-minute walk away, and valet parking is available. Our room was comfortable and just right. We highly recommend Auberge Saint Pierre!

The room was tiny for three people, only a little bigger than a Japanese hotel room. The toilet was spacious, though, and I wish there'd been more room outside it. The hotel and room were well decorated, spotless, and the staff were so friendly. They pointed out things around the area. For some reason, they left the TV on playing classical music. First time I've had that happen 🤣

Getting around was easy, since the hotel is within walking distance of the main shopping and sightseeing areas. It also had a breakfast spread with lots of options, which looked great even though we didn't try it. This was exactly the kind of place we wanted: quaint and charming, with the feel of authentic Old Quebec. Our clean room combined old-world character with modern amenities and thoughtful design.

Loved the calm feel of our lovely, spacious, very quaint room, especially the brick wall. The staff and breakfast were great, and the filtered water machines and free 24-hour espresso machine helped make it a perfect stay. Definitely coming back.
