The breakfast was restaurant quality, with eggs, sausage, croissant, and cheese, and the staff were wonderful. Each room has its own look, with classic antiques that made me think of an elegant Paris salon. This is a real gem in the heart of old Quebec City. If you enjoy walking, it’s a mile downhill to the old city, a great way to see it. Le Bellig and Piazzetta nearby were welcoming and served enjoyable food. Bring your own screens if you want them, since the WiFi is very good.

We stayed for one night in the library and loved how unique and memorable it was. The restored home was stunning, brought back to its original architectural state, which feels rare these days. Breakfast was a pleasant buffet in the dining room. Old Quebec is a bit of a walk, but the quieter setting made it worthwhile. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I highly recommend it!
Philippe was a gracious host, and having a parking garage available made things easy on snowy city streets. The chateau was delightful, with unique and comfortable rooms and a warm breakfast each morning that was a lovely surprise. Shops and restaurants are all around, and it’s a quick walk to Old Quebec, the Plains of Abraham, and more. I’d definitely stay again.
A beautiful historic home with fantastic hosts and staff, and a lovely breakfast to start the day. The location is great, and the stay was memorable. Highly recommend.
The location made it easy to enjoy the pastry shops, convenience stores and great restaurants nearby, with the old city gates about a 10-15 minute walk away. We’ve visited Quebec City many times, and this was our favorite stay. Pierre gave us a warm welcome and clearly takes pride in caring for this gorgeous late-19th-century building. Our room was stunning, spotless and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was lovely, and the coffee was a real treat. Highly recommend Le Chateau du Faubourg. Merci Pierre! À bientot!
