The fall colours around the property are a must see. I loved sitting on the covered porch with tea or coffee, whether it was drizzling or sunny. The rooms are wonderfully appointed, with comfortable beds and large bathrooms, and the hosts, Adele and her family, are lovely. Their dog is a delight, too. There’s a comfortable lounge with games and puzzles, along with a breakfast nook where they serve a hot breakfast as part of your stay. This is the best place I’ve stayed on this side of Nova Scotia. Come in early fall for the scenery and great hospitality.

My parents and I were on an east coast road trip when I found Parrsboro Mansion through a blog post by a couple who’d stayed there and highly recommended it. Glad we followed their lead. The rooms are huge and nicely decorated, and there was a good assortment at breakfast. The couple who run it are salt-of-the-earth people who love what they do. What a gorgeous Airbnb find. We’ll definitely return for a longer stay.

The warm pool and waterslide were the highlight for my kids, and the pool was impeccably clean and maintained. The Schooner Room was perfect for our family and had more space than we expected. Breakfast came with a good variety of delicious options, and the service was very accommodating. We stayed at the Parrsboro Mansion Inn in July and were warmly greeted and shown around. Hosts Mike and Adele are lovely, and their care for the property and guests shows throughout the stay. They were especially kind to our children, who were 8 and 11. The very sweet, playful pup Loki made everything feel extra joyful. The price was very fair, and we’d highly recommend the Inn to anyone passing through.

When our plans for the day fell through, the hosts suggested other attractions, and we ended up enjoying them even more. They couldn’t have been nicer. The location was handy for sightseeing, and our room was comfortable and clean. We loved staying here and would definitely come back.
