Gillespie House Inn

Breakfast was homemade and so yummy, and the big veranda was lovely for relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable, too. Everyone, from the owners to the staff, was warm and welcoming. This place was a highlight of our trip, and we’d highly recommend it!

The price was jaw-droppingly affordable for such a luxurious inn. Our room and all the facilities were lovely, and breakfast was scrumptious, all prepared at home. The owners and staff gave us an incredible welcome and so much attention. It was one of the most charming inns we’ve stayed in, and one of the most memorable stops on our vacation across Europe and the Maritimes.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a choice of eggs, blueberry pancakes, or French toast. The food was outstanding in both quality and quantity, and we were offered coffee, tea, and orange juice in the beautifully set dining room. Our hosts, David and Lori, were friendly, engaging, and welcoming. The house is gorgeous and meticulously maintained, with beautiful grounds to match. Our spacious, nicely decorated room had a fireplace and sconce lighting. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the roomy bathroom had a separate soaking tub and a stand-in shower. Highly recommend.

On our two-week tour of the Maritimes, this was the place I wished we’d booked more time at. The room was impeccable, charming, and so comfortable. We were SO happy we chose the Gillespie House Inn. A local chef prepared our fantastic breakfast onsite, especially for us. We hadn’t expected such thoughtful, high-quality guest service, and we loved it!
