Gîte TerreCiel

David thinks through every detail to make you feel at home and comfortable. He's a thoughtful host, and the charming house is beautifully decorated. The blueberry pancakes were the best I've ever had. We'll really miss Benoît, the adorable four-legged companion. I absolutely recommend staying at Gîte Terreciel!

The house and grounds are lovely, and David is such a warm, inviting host. He and his helpers are bilingual, which made things very helpful for us. Each room is comfortable and comes with bathrobes, wine glasses, a wine opener and chocolates. There are games in the shared spaces, and the yard backs onto the water. Restaurants, galleries, shops and the beach are all an easy walk away. And Benoit, the other host, is a sweet, older golden retriever who loves tummy rubs. Breakfast was a real highlight across both days. There was fresh local fruit, cheese and sausages, with a different mix of local flavors each day, plus homemade jams, two kinds of homemade bread daily, muffins, boxed cereals and fantastic coffee. I usually take my coffee with lots of cream and sugar, but this was good enough to drink black. David and his staff also made a hot breakfast each morning. We had individual waffles topped with local blueberries and a strawberry rosette on the first day, then French toast the next. French toast can be tricky, but every slice was crisp and tender, just right. I highly recommend Gites Terreceil, and we're already looking forward to coming back next year!

David was kind and easy to talk to, and the room was spotless. The breakfasts were amazing, with fresh fruit, cheese, croissants, French toast, pancakes and eggs. Such a great B&B. Highly recommend!

The location worked really well, with lots of restaurants and pubs nearby, and I'd definitely stay at this B&B again. It's clean and cozy, and the host is great. Breakfast had two kinds of fresh bread baked by the host each day, along with juice, cut fruit, tasty cheeses and homemade jam. The second part changed every morning. David made us blueberry pancakes, waffles and French toast, and everything was super delicious 😋
