Nicole was an amazing hostess. Breakfast was delicious, with different foods each morning. Our room was spacious, bright, and very clean.

I loved my three nights here. It was just the comfortable, peaceful place I wanted for recharging and disconnecting, and I’m glad I chose this guesthouse. The place is charming and calm, and the hostess is just as welcoming. I highly recommend it! 🩷🩷🩷

That back-balcony view is lovely, and we weren’t bothered by road noise even though the road is close by. The bed was super comfortable too. Nicole gave us a wonderful welcome, and the house is beautiful. The room is small and cozy, with all the amenities, and the village of Baie-Saint-Paul is just a three- to four-minute drive away. Breakfast was good, though we would have liked more local, homemade, carefully selected products. Thank you for everything, Nicole!

I accompanied someone for two days, and neither day felt restful. The room itself was fine, but it was missing basics like tissues, a small table, and chairs. The website photo showed a table and two chairs on the balcony. When we asked about a table outside, the woman said it was too cold to go out at this time of year, even though it was a beautiful day and we would have liked a drink on the terrace. The arrival got off to a bad start. The woman stayed in the doorway without even greeting us. She had also made an error with the prestige package and asked for more money, although we hadn’t owed it. We spent a lot of time on the phone and online writing a compensation request, which still hasn’t come through. After a lot of insistence, she eventually refunded the extra charge. Before leaving, she said I’d probably ruin her reputation. I didn’t need to, since she’d done that herself throughout our stay. On the first morning I saw that the coffee maker was full. After another customer poured a cup, I poured myself some too, but the milk had curdled and was ten days past its expiration date. She saw me and said I wasn’t entitled to it because “This isn’t a hotel!” I reminded her I’d called before the stay to ask if there was coffee, and she’d said yes. We were entitled to breakfast in our package, but it came in cardboard boxes left on the floor by the door, as if we were animals. The package was the only reason we could eat in our room, either on the floor or on the bed, since there were no tables. She also told us we weren’t allowed to eat or drink in the room. She came knocking and sat down in front of us to ask, “Okay, what’s wrong? We’ll sort this out!” We could tell she wasn’t well, and her tone was aggressive. When I asked for a receipt for the cash we’d paid on arrival, she asked, “Did you break the table?” Phew, no, I hadn’t! She said she’d give me the receipt when we left, and later slipped it under the door.
