Best Western Plus St. Albert

Breakfast here is hard to beat, and they offer both a seniors rate and a members rate. Our room was roomy and spotless, with a large jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. The beds were excellent too. We'll book here again next time we're in the city.

The one thing I noticed was that the TVs don't have CFL, which I hadn't encountered at a Canadian hotel before. The breakfasts were decent, the pool was nice, and the room was clean. Most of all, Rianne and Julie made my stay comfortable and positive. They were understanding and kind, and went out of their way to handle everything efficiently. Thanks to them and the rest of the top-notch staff.

The breakfast was fresh, had a decent selection, and the kids loved the pancake machine. From the executive suite on the top floor, we hardly heard anyone: no footsteps overhead or noise from the neighboring rooms. The hotel is beside a Wendy's, a 7/11 is within walking distance, and there's a mall with Chapters across the street. I booked the wrong date by a week, but the desk staff helped me get a room for the day I arrived. I was still within the cancellation window, so I got my money and points back. Thanks for a great stay. We found our new favorite Edmonton-area hotel for our trips down to Calgary.

Nette at the front desk was absolutely wonderful, and the breakfast room had lots of choices even though it was busy. The coffee was good too. We chose a pet-friendly ground-floor room, though we didn't have our pets with us, and the smell of Nilodor or something like it was overpowering all night. If there was that much pet damage, maybe the odor needed to be dealt with properly. The beds also felt very firm and uncomfortable.
