Brewster Mountain Lodge

There isn't air conditioning, though fans are provided. The room and balcony had beautiful views, and the bathroom vanity had lots of space. Everything was nice and clean, and shops, restaurants, and attractions were easy to reach on foot. There's underground parking that you can still access during the road construction, but the spaces are small and there aren't enough for every room, so plan ahead. I'd definitely stay here again.

We come every year to celebrate xmas and bring our fur babies. They provide extra large kennels with nice beds and a small area for the pups to use in an emergency before you take them out for a big walk. The front desk people are so nice, the rooms are clean, and the location is downtown with everything walkable. I truly love this hotel, from the staff to the rooms. The only reason I'd hesitate to give it a great rating is so it won't be booked up when we want to come.

I've stayed here three times over 30 years, most recently in 2025. The hotel is very close to the centre of Banff, about 100yds, and the staff are very helpful. In my opinion, the rooms look a bit dated and could use a makeover. The buffet breakfast area was clean and tidy, with a good selection of food. They restocked things quickly when anything ran out.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Banff near shops and restaurants, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good too. Nearby construction and the lack of an air vent in the room were the downsides, since it got a bit warm at times. Still, Brewster Mountain Lodge was a pleasant, convenient, and comfortable place to stay.
