We got a cheap two-bedroom suite that was nice, quiet, and clean. It's not a luxury motel, but it's a decent option if you just need an inexpensive place to crash. Funny thing, we didn't realize these were college dorms until we arrived. I'd seen some of the reviews and was nervous, but our experience was great.

The Residence had to fit in a lot of ball teams at the last minute for the weekend after another hotel cancelled. Even with all that going on, our room was clean, well equipped, and cheaper than a hotel. Having two separate rooms and a kitchen area with a full-sized fridge and freezer was handy. Bring your own cutlery, ice cube tray, coffee maker, and so on.

I stayed three weeks at about $70 a day. The laundry was convenient and access to HWY 400 was good. Lots of young families renting nearby meant extra noise. The A/C ran very cool all the time, so I needed to keep a heater inside overnight.

WiFi didn't work and neither did the TV. I couldn't use the gym because it's for students. A student checked people in and had no idea what he was doing. The place felt like a hospital or prison, though you can come and go as you please. I wonder if the people leaving good reviews have ever stayed at an actual hotel. This was just awful 😒😒😒😒

We loved how clean and fresh it was, and the whole building smelled like nobody had ever smoked there. It's a great dorm room, with two separate rooms and a small kitchen with a sink, fridge, and microwave. Each room has a queen bed and a little dining spot, and the bathroom was great. There's plenty of free parking. Just note it's a dorm, so no TV or room service, and food is quite a walk away.
