The walls made the room feel like a jail cell, and there was cat poop under both beds. We had to switch rooms because the first bed had a pee stain, then found blood on the bed in the replacement room. Worst motel I've stayed in. I wish we'd gone down the street. I hope Interior Health takes a look, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Parking worked well for my tow truck, and the layout was convenient. The place was spotless, the staff were great, and everyone made us feel welcome. Highly recommend it.

The price was good, but the website photos gave us the wrong impression. We found hair on the bed before we'd even set our bags down, stains on the walls and light switches, and a filthy shower with terrible water pressure. The TV also wouldn't play most channels for some reason. The servers seemed a bit odd, and we ordered hash browns but got plain potatoes instead. We can put up with things like that, and my family isn't exactly fussy about mess, but this place really was dirty. If you can overlook all of that, it might suit you. It definitely wasn't what we expected from the online pictures.

The front desk made our visit, especially Holly, who was an exceptional employee and service person. The rooms were clean and fairly comfortable, and the price was low. The hotel itself is pretty run down, right down to the room number being penciled onto the door. If we end up in Barriere, BC again somehow, we'd probably stay here again.
