Days Inn Brockville

The service was good and the rooms were nicer than I expected. We didn't see any bugs during our stay. A decent, reasonably priced place for a night.

The breakfast was the only decent part. I stayed with friends at Days Inn by Wyndham Brockville during the Tall Ships Festival on June 21, 2025, and it was one of my worst hotel experiences. We knew it was budget-friendly, but the room and service were far below acceptable. The TV first showed static, then shut off. Rolled-up toilet paper was wedged behind the desk by the cable, apparently holding a loose connection in place, and several outlets didn't work. When we raised this, front desk staff brushed us off, blamed the remote, and vaguely said we could talk to the manager tomorrow. Before we could ask for another room or two separate rooms, we were told the hotel was full, though the parking lot stayed mostly empty all night. It felt like they were dismissing us. The room was dated and poorly cleaned, with a ripped, broken desk chair, a stained, yellowing and torn duvet, wrinkled sheets, and yellow stains around the unclean tub. At checkout we asked for the manager we'd been expecting, but were told they weren't there. I left my contact details and was promised a follow-up, but heard nothing until I escalated the complaint to the parent company. The response I eventually got was a nameless, generic-looking copy-paste message that addressed nothing specific and offered no olive branch. I've formally requested a refund through the booking platform, and hope management takes these problems seriously. With broken amenities, poor cleanliness, dismissive staff, and no follow-up, I absolutely wouldn't recommend this hotel. Put your trust and money elsewhere.

FLEAS!!!!! We were traveling with three kids and stopped late at night on the way through. The first room had dirty socks in the bed, so we moved next door. There were fleas on the pillows, and it smelled like mold. I took a pillow with a flea still on it to the desk. The man just said, “oh.” When I asked for my money back, he didn't hesitate, as if he knew the rooms were filthy. The next day, the manager said he was shocked and that this had never happened before, since animals and pets aren't allowed. I showed him the video and pictures of bugs crawling. Don't stay here. Maybe the empty parking lot should have warned us. DISGUSTING.

Everything was good, and the rooms were good too. Jyoti at the front desk was especially helpful and lovely.
